Thank goodness for the East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse, "an ecological treasure trove of art & craft materials, educational supplies, vintage furniture, home décor, paper goods, fabric, and much more." A treasure trove indeed! At today's visit, I left with a fabric swatchbook of beautiful upholstery fabric for only $5.00 (see below)! So, what are my plans with this fabric? Escort cards!

Too funny! Vera I swear we are almost one in the same! I made my escort cards this past weekend, I will send you a pic, I think it will help with your ideas as well. My wedding is 10/2 and I even used fabric in the board that I will attach the cards to!!
What a fabulous idea! I love it. Totally different and colorful. I will be working on our escort 'chair favor boxes' in the next couple weeks. I just got the candy to fill them with this week...a post will be coming in the next few weeks :) I love them!
